Your privacy
This page explains what happens to your details when you join the Sacred Pulse email list. Last updated 31 October 2026.
Who runs this site
Sacred Pulse is run by Benjamin W J Berry, 10 High Street, Windermere, Cumbria, England, LA23 1AF.
Questions about your data: email [email protected].
What we collect
- Your email address.
- Which boxes you ticked: new music emails, and the optional monthly verse and new song.
- When you signed up, and which website you signed up on.
We do not ask for your name, and we do not buy or sell lists.
Why we use it
- To send you the devotional pack you asked for and to tell you when new music is out.
- If you ticked the second box, to send you a monthly email with a verse and a new song.
We only send what you signed up for.
Our lawful basis
Under UK GDPR we rely on your consent. You give it by ticking the box and then tapping the confirm link we email you. You can withdraw it at any time, and that does not affect emails sent before you did.
Who helps us
MailerLite stores the list and sends our emails on our behalf. It acts as our processor and keeps the data in the EU. See the MailerLite privacy policy.
Cloudflare hosts this site. When you use the signup form, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person, not a bot, is filling it in. To do that it looks at technical details from your browser, such as your IP address. See the Cloudflare privacy policy and the Turnstile privacy addendum.
The music players on this site only load from Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer or YouTube when you tap them. This site does not set its own cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your details while you are on the list. When you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, we stop emailing you straight away and remove your details.
Unsubscribing and your rights
Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One tap and you are off the list.
You can also ask us to see, correct or delete what we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
